Williams kicked off his fighting career in May of 2010. He quickly compiled a 7-0 record as an amateur before turning pro in February of 2011. Is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished amateurs in Minnesota MMA history.

Donald began his training under the tutelage of former Chute Boxe and BJ Penn striking coach Sergio Cunha at the Minnesota Fight Factory. Has since turned to the guidance of Greg Nelson at The Academy for his everyday MMA training. It’s at the MMAA where Donald trains alongside UFC veterans Sean Sherk, Nik Lentz and Jacob Volkmann. Recently made a successful leap into the pro ranks with a first round TKO of Travis Krumrei (1-1).
