Background
I was born in Tulsa Oklahoma. I moved to Beloit WI in 2002 where attended Beloit Memorial High School. I participated in football, wrestling and track. In 2003 I began my training in Kickboxing and fell in love with the sport. I didn’t fight until 2005 mainly because school sports took up most of my time.
After high school and a few Kickboxing fights, I started playing semi-pro football for the Stateline Hawks in 2006 and then I played for the Rock County Gladiators in 2007. When football season ended in 2007, I went back to my Kickboxing Gym and they had started an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) program since I had been gone. The owner hired a Jiu Jitsu instructor to teach us how to fight on the ground. So I started training in MMA and began my fighting career. As an amateur Mixed Martial Artist I have nine wins, two losses with seven of my nine wins by knockout. During this time I obtained three titles:
STATE LINE WARRIOR TITLE AT 145LB
2008 KICK/WAKO NATIONAL TOURNMENT TITLE AT 135LB
2009 KING OF THE RIVER TITLE AT 135LB
So after eleven amateur fights and three titles I began my professional career. Since may of 2009 my professional record is 8-3 with seven wins by knockout.
Reason you fight
I fight because it keeps me balanced and it gives me something to look forward to. I feel like being a Mixed Martial Artist is what I was born to do.
