Background
I’ve wrestled since I was 4-5 years old, I’m a 3rd generation wrestler… I took 2nd and 3rd at State in High School, 4x Regional Champion, 3x Team Captain, Career Record of 149-13… In college I was a 3x WIAC Conference Champion, 3x National Qualifier, National Finalist… I have fought MMA since I was 18, I was 6-0 before losing, which brought me back to wrestling, now that I have achieved my goals in that I can focus completely on MMA, instead of juggling the two. I have 2 brothers (Brandon/Travis), 2 sisters (Starr/Shey), a girlfriend(Amanda), a dog (Sabali), 2 Uncles (Don/Brian), my Dad (Steve), and my amazing Grandma (Marlyce). This is my family…
Reason you fight
I fight because I have had a desire to compete and push myself since a very young age. Now, more then ever I fight for my family… in 2008 my father was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident and my mother died of a brain tumor literally a few weeks later, followed by my younger brother going to prison. I realized that life is too short and that we can lose everything in the blink of an eye, so I challenge myself every day to be the best human being I can be; whether it is in fighting, my education, or my relationships with my family and friends. I just want to do everything to the best of my ability because I know there is no such thing as perfection even though we strive for it as humans…
I would like to thanks my friends, family, training partners/staff, sponsors, and everyone else that believes in me and supports my aspirations. I am blessed and truly gratefull!!!
